This story has an interesting theme surrounding reconciling old and new identities, and while I might not personally agree with its conclusions it explores it in a compelling manner. - O'Nonymous

This has a strong opening and a compelling exploration of Flowey. It gets weaker near the end as Ganon seems to Hijack it as it were, but I'm fond enough of the start to still recommend it. - O'Nonymous

To keep the quality high, the writer set themself some rules, like "no resets", "no apologia", "no Gaster" and "Sans never loses his chill". The result is excellent. - HushBugger |

Recommendations | A story (in the author's words) about the power of friendship, teamwork, and body horror. Well-written, dark, and emotional, the story does an excellent job of exploring Sans' and Gaster's backstory creatively, as well as illuminating Sans' flaws.
Even though the story's main focus is on Sans and his past, everyone gets a chance to help in the 'present day' struggle - especially Undyne, who practically (and sometimes literally) carries the team. - Curry |

Other Tags | Pre-Game, Babyblaster AU, Gasterblaster AU, Recovery, Dad Grillby |
Recommendations | The pioneer Babyblaster AU / adoptive dad Grillby fic. A prequel of sorts to the main story of Undertale, focusing on the inhabitants of Snowdin.
The development of Grillby as a father, alongside the skeleton brothers slowly opening up to him is a joy to read. However, it is not for the faint of heart, as it deals with very heavy themes such as past abuse and trauma. - Curry |
